Simply Sunless is an innovative tanning salon that specializes in the art and science of sunless tanning. Our mission is to provide clients with a consistent, natural-looking airbrush tan that is perfectly customized to individual skin type and personal preference.
Through world-class tanning products, friendly customer service, and unparalled expertise in the technology of airbrush tanning, Simply Sunless maximizes the benefits that can be achieved through airbrush tanning. Simply Sunless is dedicated to customizing a sunless tan to the specific needs of our clients. After careful evaluation, airbrush artists will vary the shade, depth and color of your tan according to your skin type and preference.
Simply Sunless’ innovative airbrush tanning treatment uses an air mist delivery system to evenly coat the body in less than three minutes. Our treatment is designed to provide clients with a consistent year-round option to achieve your desired complexion.
With the use of Simply Sunless products, your tan can last up to ten days and fade evenly. Our tanning extenders help extend your tan up to an additional 5 days!

Anti-Aging
Our world-class sunless tanning solution consists of a sugarcane base derivative, DHA (dihydroxyacetone), and has been FDA approved for over 40 years. The DHA reacts with the amino acids in the outer layers (epidermis) of your skin. The reaction develops a natural looking tan and fades naturally as if it came from the sun.
The entire appointment takes approximately 15 minutes. You may wear your own under garments, or you can go nude or topless. We also offer disposable undergarments. The solution takes approximately 8 hours to develop. Your tan can last approximately 7 days and 10-14 days with our lotion and tanning extender products.
During your first shower, you will notice 'the brown toner' running down the drain. This is normal...it is the "instant bronze" color washing away as it is designed to do, leaving you with a beautiful bronze glow underneath!

Our Tans
We use a high quality DHA(the active ingredient that makes you tan) so you never have to worry about that dreaded orange tan! Our solution is water based and is both alcohol and fragrance-free which means you skin won’t be screaming for lotion when you walk out our doors and you won’t be embarrassed to around anyone because ours doesn’t have that “spray tan smell” that people always fear. We will make sure you’re plenty dry before you leave and if you’re worried about feeling sticky, we even have something to help with that! We want your experience at Simply Sunless to be an enjoyable experience all around so we will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable. We also know your time is valuable so our appointments are only 20 minutes long so you don’t have to worry about a lengthy appointment taking up your day.
OUR OWNER
Hi! My name is Victoria Courtney, and I’m the owner of Simply Sunless. You could say running a tanning salon is in my DNA. When I was only a child, my mom owned a tanning salon with tanning beds. Of course back then we didn’t know how bad tanning beds were. In 2011 my Aunt Tracy wanted to open an airbrush tanning salon. We knew the harmful affects of bed tanning and laying out in the sun so we had been getting airbrushed tanned ourselves. When we realized how much we loved being tan, Tracy asked if I would be interested in learning how to tan others and managing a new business for her. I believe my response was along the lines of, “we can totally learn to do that!” That was when Simply Sunless was born. Tracy and I worked together to create the tanning techniques that are still the basis of how we tan today. I worked the majority of the hours at the salon tanning on average 20 people a day, 5-6 days a week for 7 years. I loved every second of it! In 2018, my husband and I moved to Austin for a job opportunity and so I had to say goodbye to Simply Sunless. Though, I still checked in when I came to town and helped with emails or anything else Tracy asked. In 2019, Tracy was discussing selling the business to pursue a career as a therapist, and I knew if Simply Sunless was going to be sold to anyone, it should be me. After all, I loved that place as if it was my own already and I loved my time spent with clients! In 2020, my husband and I purchased Simply Sunless and moved back to DFW. 2020 was a rough year for many and I am so grateful for our amazing clients that came in to support us because we survived the year and are happy to back to our full operational hours! Simply Sunless is more than just a business to me; it’s a family. All of my girls that work with me have the same love for our clients and giving them a fantastic tan as I do. I have some clients that I started tanning back in 2011 that are now graduating, I have some that have come to me when they are pregnant and now catch me up on all their child's big milestones. I love all my clients, and I feel so blessed to get to do something I’m so passionate about and meet so many great people along the way!
